Terms of service

These terms cover your use of feeddiet.com and the Feed Diet Chrome extension (the “Service”). Feed Diet (“we”) runs the Service. If you use the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.

1. What Feed Diet does

Feed Diet is a Chrome extension. It filters the videos in your YouTube feed and the posts in your X timeline by a rule you write. It blurs or hides the ones that break the rule. We can change or stop any part of the Service at any time.

2. AI judgments

An AI classifier decides which videos and posts break your rule. It can be wrong. It can hide something you wanted to see, or show something you did not. Feed Diet is not a safety or parental-control guarantee. You stay responsible for what you and your family watch.

3. Free trial

The free trial lasts 7 days from the first time Feed Diet judges a post or video. The first 3 days need no account. After that, you sign up with your email to use the rest of the trial. The trial needs no card. When it ends, Feed Diet stops filtering until you subscribe. We can change or end the free trial at any time.

4. Subscriptions and billing

• Prices. $5 a month, or $50 a year, in US dollars. Pricing shows the current prices.
• Billing. We bill in advance for each month or year. Stripe processes all payments. We never see your card number.
• Renewal. Your subscription renews on its own at the end of each period, at the same price, until you cancel.
• Price changes. We give you at least 30 days’ notice by email before a new price applies to your subscription.

5. Cancellation

You can cancel at any time from your account page. After you cancel, Feed Diet keeps working until the end of the period you paid for. It does not renew after that.

6. Refunds

Payments are not refundable, and we do not refund part of a month or year. If we charged you by mistake, or charged you twice, write to hello@feeddiet.com and we will refund that charge in full. Nothing in these terms limits a refund that the law requires.

7. Your account

• You must be 18 or older to buy a subscription. A parent can set up Feed Diet for a child.
• You are responsible for your sign-in email and for what happens under your account.
• One subscription is for one person or one household.

8. What you must not do

• Break any law while you use the Service.
• Resell the Service, or share your API token outside your household.
• Send automated traffic to our server other than through the extension.
• Try to get into parts of the Service that are not yours, or interfere with it.

9. Suspension and termination

We can suspend or close your account if you break these terms, do not pay, or use the Service for fraud or abuse. You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

10. YouTube and X

Feed Diet is not made by or connected to YouTube, Google, or X. It works with their pages as they are today. If they change their pages, some features can stop working until we update the extension.

11. No warranty

We provide the Service “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We do not promise that it will be free of errors, always available, or right about every post and video.

12. Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

13. Disputes and governing law

If you have a problem, write to us first. We try to solve it within 30 days. If we cannot, either side can start binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, in the State of Delaware. Arbitration is for each person alone, not as a class. These terms follow the laws of the State of Delaware.

14. Changes to these terms

We can change these terms. For a big change, we try to give 30 days’ notice by email. If you keep using the Service after a change, you accept the new terms.

Our privacy policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.
